Gregory C. Jenks

Formerly the Rector of St. Matthew's Anglican Church, Drayton, Australia, Gregory C. Jenks has blended the roles of administrator, biblical scholar and pastor throughout his professional career. Prior to his appointment as Rector of St Matthew's Church, he worked in management at Griffith University, one of three state universities in Brisbane. He has also been a Lecturer in Biblical Studies in the Adelaide College of Divinity and in the Brisbane College of Theology, as well as an adjunct faculty member in the Department of Studies in Religion at the University of Queensland.

Gregory Jenks has a long standing commitment to making scholarship accessible to a wider audience, as an author and through adult education programs. He was responsible for the development of lay theology education programs in both Adelaide and Brisbane during his time on faculty, and established the Centre for Faith and Life within Drayton Parish to offer programs that integrate biblical scholarship, everyday life and religious faith. He is also keenly interested in the impact of information technology on both the content and the forms of religion.
